Highland Perthshire is rightly identified as the 'Heartland', with Pitlochry at its hub - merely an hour and a half by road from each of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen.
Pitlochry is on the main railway network and is serviced by the quick A9 trunk road.
| From the South | Follow the A9 North from Perth towards Inverness. Take the turning to Pitlochry (signposted) and follow the road towards the town centre. Turn right onto East Moulin Road and take the first turning to the left onto Lower Oakfield (!Warning this is a sharp corner!). Derrybeg is about half way along on the left hand side |
